Kansas exempts qualifying traditional daily fantasy sports but does not affirmatively license it. A 2015 law exempts qualifying traditional DFS (players 18+), but DFS is not affirmatively licensed; in 2023 the KRGC sent cease-and-desist letters to six "pick'em" operators.
