RESTRICTED

Vaping is legal to own and use in Peru but banned in a long list of places. Article 6.1 of Law 32159 prohibits smoking or vaping in health and education establishments, public offices, workplaces, enclosed public spaces and any means of public transport, all of which are designated one hundred per cent smoke-free. The ban reaches electronic nicotine delivery systems with or without nicotine and heated tobacco products, so a nicotine-free vape is not a way around it. Premises must post a sign stating that smoking and vaping are prohibited there. Sale to under-18s is prohibited and advertising, promotion and sponsorship are heavily restricted.
