LawLert Advertiser Terms
Effective July 26, 2026
These terms govern sponsored listings and other paid placements on LawLert (lawlertapp.com and the LawLert apps), operated by LawLert ("we," "us"). Submitting a listing through the ad builder, accepting a pay link, or paying for a placement means you ("the advertiser") agree to these terms.
1. What a listing is
A sponsored listing is a clearly-labeled placement (business name, short description, link, optional phone) shown on the LawLert page(s) agreed for your plan, on the web and — where applicable — in the LawLert apps. Listings are always labeled "Sponsored" and are kept visually and editorially separate from LawLert's legal information.
2. Term, billing, and cancellation
Standard listings bill monthly in advance ($49/month founding rate unless otherwise agreed in writing) via our payment processor, and renew each month until cancelled. Annual founding sponsorships, category exclusivity, and any custom terms apply only when agreed in writing. You may cancel anytime — cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period runs to its end and partial periods are not refunded. If we remove your listing for a reason other than a violation of these terms, we refund the unused portion of the period you paid for.
3. Review, rejection, and removal
Every listing is reviewed by a person before going live. We may reject or remove any listing at any time at our discretion — including for accuracy concerns, category or jurisdiction restrictions, or anything we judge inconsistent with a legal-information product. Regulated categories are geo-gated: listings serve only where the underlying activity is lawful. Self-serve listings are not available for firearm or ammunition sellers or cannabis product sales; firearms-law and cannabis-page advertising (such as attorneys, training, or compliance services) is handled personally at partners@lawlertapp.com.
4. No guarantee of results — honest reporting
We do not guarantee impressions, clicks, calls, customers, or any level of traffic or results. What we promise instead is honest measurement: reporting we share with you reflects actual recorded listing impressions and clicks from our systems, never estimates or inflated figures.
5. Your content and conduct
You confirm your business and listing content are lawful where they appear, accurate, and yours to use. We may adjust formatting for display. You may not advertise unlawful products or services, and you're responsible for complying with the laws and license requirements that apply to your business.
6. Independence of legal content
Sponsorship never influences LawLert's legal information. Every rule LawLert publishes is dated and cited to the source it came from — official government and primary sources wherever we have them, and we say so openly where we don't (see How we verify) — regardless of who advertises. A listing is not an endorsement by LawLert, and LawLert's content is general legal information, not legal advice.
7. Liability and disputes
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with advertising is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Our site-wide Terms of Service also apply; if they conflict with these Advertiser Terms for advertising matters, these terms control.
8. Contact
Questions, changes, or cancellations: partners@lawlertapp.com. We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated to active advertisers by email before they take effect.
