Conditional: No proactive duty — but it is a class 1 misdemeanor to fail to ANSWER ACCURATELY if an officer, during a lawful stop, detention or arrest, asks whether you are carrying a concealed deadly weapon (A.R.S. § 13-3102(A)(1)(b)).

The officer may take temporary custody of the firearm during the contact. Applies to permitless carriers (21+) and permit holders alike.
