UK drugs are graded Class A, B or C. Simple possession maxes out at 7 years for Class A, 5 years for Class B and 2 years for Class C — supplying a Class A drug can mean life in prison.
Possession: Class A up to 7 years, Class B up to 5 years, Class C up to 2 years — each with an unlimited fine, or both. Supply or production: Class A up to life in prison; Class B and Class C up to 14 years.
