The Medical Cannabis Act does not authorize smoking, vaping, or any other inhalation of medical cannabis in a public place or in a motor vehicle. Non-inhaled forms such as edibles and tinctures are not reached by that provision. Operating a vehicle, boat, aircraft or train under the influence remains illegal. (Restrictions on federal property arise from federal law, not the MMCA.) Miss. Code 41-137-13(2)(c)–(d).
