Kentucky has no duty to inform: KRS 237.109, the permitless-carry statute for those 21 and older, imposes no notification duty. Licensees have one extra rule: KRS 237.110(15) requires carrying the CCDW license whenever carrying, and displaying it at an officer's request (a $25 noncriminal violation). Nobody in Kentucky must proactively announce that they are armed.
