Suppressors are legal in Texas, which imposes no state ban of its own — they are regulated only federally, under the National Firearms Act (NFA). Penal Code 46.05 no longer lists silencers (they were removed in 2015), and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) allows suppressors to take any wildlife resource.
