SB 749 (2026) bans the sale/transfer/import of magazines over 15 rounds from July 1, 2026, but that ban is BLOCKED by preliminary injunctions - made STATEWIDE by a Washington County Circuit Court ruling (Santolla v. Katz, July 7, 2026; onset July 21, 2026) and also enjoined in Crump v. Katz (Lancaster County); the Attorney General is appealing (no stay granted as of this update). Enforcement is currently halted statewide; possession was never banned.
