Catfish (channel, white, bullhead) fishing rules in NV

Catfish — channel catfish, white catfish, and bullheads — are warmwater game fish in Nevada and count toward the 15-fish warmwater daily limit (possession is twice the daily limit). Washoe Lake has a special limit of 10 game fish of which no more than 5 may be catfish. Health advisory: the state recommends no consumption of any fish from the Carson River below Lahontan Dam and Lahontan Valley waters due to mercury.
