Summary

Cannabis is fully illegal in Idaho for both medical and recreational use. Narrow exceptions exist only for FDA-approved cannabis-derived drug products: CBD formulations with no more than 0.1% residual THC (Epidiolex), nabiximols, and FDA-approved dronabinol (Marinol and Syndros). Any CBD product sold at retail in Idaho must contain 0.0% THC. Possession of 3 ounces or less carries a mandatory minimum $300 fine for anyone 18 or older, on top of the misdemeanor penalty.
