Drug-related charges in Singapore carry severe penalties, including the death penalty or caning, and permanent residents of Singapore can be arrested and convicted even for drugs consumed outside Singapore.

Singapore bans all written materials published by the Jehovah's Witnesses (Watchtower / International Bible Students Association) and the Unification Church; possessing them is an offence.
