Cash worth EUR 10,000 or more must be declared in writing when you enter or leave the EU through Slovenia — and when crossing Slovenia's border with another EU country you must declare it if customs or the police ask.
The competent authorities may detain the cash and you could be subject to penalties for non-compliance.
