Arkansas Sunday Alcohol Sales (2026)

Conditional: Sunday OFF-premises sales are not automatic in Arkansas — they are lawful only where a city or county has held an election under Act 294 of 2009 authorizing them, and then only between 10:00 a.m.

Sunday OFF-premises sales are not automatic in Arkansas — they are lawful only where a city or county has held an election under Act 294 of 2009 authorizing them, and then only between 10:00 a.m. and midnight (or a shorter window set by local ordinance). Many areas remain no-Sunday-sale. Sunday ON-premises sales are allowed without an election, also 10:00 a.m. to midnight. Otherwise sales are prohibited between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., so the practical window is Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. the next day and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to midnight — Saturday sales cannot roll past midnight into Sunday. Christmas Day sales are prohibited, and local ordinances may be stricter. Selling outside these hours is grounds for suspension or revocation of the retail permit (3 CAR § 3-401).
