Suppressors are legal in Oregon once they are registered with the federal government. ORS 166.272 makes possessing a silencer a Class B felony unless it is registered under federal law, and that registration under the National Firearms Act (NFA) is a complete affirmative defense. You complete the process with an ATF Form 4 and the $200 stamp.
