Fireworks

Permitted
Alabama statewide rule

Consumer (DOT Class C / 1.4G) fireworks — aerial devices, audible ground devices, sparkling devices and novelties — are legal to buy and use statewide, but only from a State Fire Marshal–permitted annual or seasonal retailer (Ala. Code §§ 8-17-211, 8-17-217). Municipalities may further restrict or ban them by ordinance, so check local rules (Ala. Code § 8-17-226, as amended by Act 2021-399).
