In Indiana, consumer fireworks may be used year-round from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. — until midnight on certain state holidays — subject to local ordinance. Times that local rules cannot restrict include June 29 to July 3 and July 5 to July 9 (5 p.m. until two hours after sunset), July 4 (10 a.m. to midnight), and December 31 into 1 a.m. on January 1.
