Rhode Island statewide rule
Rhode Island restricts consumers to ground-based and hand-held sparkling devices only. The sale, use, or possession of display fireworks and aerial consumer fireworks is prohibited statewide. Municipalities may impose additional restrictions (RIGL 11-13-1).
