Slow down and move over. Idaho Code 49-624 requires drivers approaching a stationary police vehicle, authorized emergency vehicle, tow truck or highway incident response vehicle displaying flashing lights to reduce speed below the posted limit. On a road with two or more lanes in your direction you must also change out of the lane adjacent to that vehicle as soon as it is reasonable and prudent to do so. On a road with one lane each way, slow below the limit and keep a safe speed until completely past.
