Arkansas DWI thresholds: an alcohol concentration of 0.08% or more in breath or blood for adults; 0.04% for commercial drivers; and 0.02% "Underage DUI" for anyone under 21. A first DWI conviction carries a fine of $150 to $1,000 plus court costs, up to one year in jail, and a 120-day license suspension. Administrative suspension periods run 6 months (1st offense), 24 months (2nd within 5 years), 30 months (3rd), and a 4-year revocation (4th). Underage offenders can be fined up to $2,000 and lose the license until age 21. Reinstatement requires an alcohol education or treatment program, a victim impact panel, ignition interlock, and a $150 fee (A.C.A. §§ 5-65-103, 5-65-205).
