Suppressors are legal in Wisconsin for civilians who complete the federal National Firearms Act (NFA) process. Wis. Stat. 941.298 makes possessing a silencer a Class H felony, but subsection (3)(c) exempts anyone who has complied with federal licensing and registration. Hunting with a suppressor is legal.
