Suppressors are legal in Iowa as long as you comply with federal law. Iowa Code 724.1B makes it a felony only to possess a suppressor "in violation of federal law", so a suppressor properly registered under the federal National Firearms Act (NFA) is legal (Iowa legalized suppressors in 2016).
