Statewide, limited "consumer fireworks" (firecrackers, fountains, ground spinners, sparklers); firecrackers always require a permit. On Oahu, only permitted firecrackers are allowed — sparklers, fountains, aerials and all else are illegal (2011 partial ban). Aerial/display fireworks barred for the public statewide.
