CONDITIONAL
You must register your drone with Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) within 30 days of bringing it into Thailand or buying one there - even if you never intend to fly it. Flying an unregistered drone is illegal, and the registration duty is triggered by possession, not by flying.
An unregistered drone carries a fine of 100,000 baht, five years' imprisonment, or both.
