Conditional: Florida has no duty to announce that you are armed, but every concealed carrier must carry valid identification and display it when an officer demands it — permitless carriers under F.S. 790.013(1) (the 2023 permitless-carry law) and licensees under F.S. 790.06(1)(c).

Violation is a $25 noncriminal infraction.
