Licensed retailers may sell consumer fireworks year-round. The former seasonal sale windows (June 15-July 6 and December 15-January 2) were repealed by SB 1948 (the Rocket's Red Glare Act), effective May 20, 2026. Use dates and times are set by local ordinance, which may further restrict or ban discharge.
