Oklahoma Consumer Fireworks (2026)
Permitted: Oklahoma broadly permits consumer fireworks.
PermittedVerified Jun 8, 2026
Oklahoma broadly permits consumer fireworks. As of May 20, 2026, the Rocket's Red Glare Act (SB 1948) legalized bottle rockets and stick-mounted skyrockets statewide and removed the seasonal sales-window requirement, so licensed retailers may now sell year-round. Counties may not restrict certain private noncommercial displays, but many municipalities (e.g., Oklahoma City, Tulsa) still ban or restrict use within city limits by local ordinance.
