For 2026 only, Tennessee extended the fireworks selling season: sales run June 10–July 10, September 1–10, and December 10–January 3, with the law repealing on February 1, 2027. The normal windows — June 20–July 5 and December 10–January 2 — return in 2027. Year-round permitted retailers also exist. Local governments may still restrict or ban use entirely; Nashville and Knoxville both prohibit it citywide.
