Rear plate only — Oklahoma issues one plate per registered vehicle and requires at least one plate properly installed. Under the Tax Commission rule, vehicle license plates must be firmly affixed to the REAR of the vehicle (exception: trucks registered under the International Registration Plan mount the plate on the front, and trucks over 26,000 lbs GVWR may mount front or rear). Plates must be displayed so letters and numerals read left to right, parallel to the ground. (OAC 710:60-3-20.)
