Info: Move over for ANY stationary vehicle displaying flashing lights — including an ordinary motorist with hazard lights on, ODOT/Turnpike Authority maintenance vehicles, Highway Patrol and local law enforcement, and emergency vehicles or wreckers.

Move over for ANY stationary vehicle displaying flashing lights — including an ordinary motorist with hazard lights on, ODOT/Turnpike Authority maintenance vehicles, Highway Patrol and local law enforcement, and emergency vehicles or wreckers. Move into a lane that is not adjacent to the stopped vehicle; if no additional lane exists, proceed with due caution and slow to a safe speed for the road, weather and traffic conditions. Expanded to cover all flashing/hazard lights by Senate Bill 89, effective Nov. 1, 2019; violation may result in a fine.
