Idaho Consumer Fireworks (2026)

Conditional: The public may buy and use only "nonaerial common fireworks" statewide, and only from midnight June 23 through midnight July 5 and midnight December 26 through midnight January 1 — each window extendable by up to five days by the local authority having jurisdiction (Idaho Code § 39-2606).

The public may buy and use only "nonaerial common fireworks" statewide, and only from midnight June 23 through midnight July 5 and midnight December 26 through midnight January 1 — each window extendable by up to five days by the local authority having jurisdiction (Idaho Code § 39-2606). Aerial fireworks are not legal for consumer use inside Idaho without a display permit; Idaho stands may still stock them under the chapter''s export and interstate-commerce exemption (§ 39-2610(6)).
