Alcohol in Jamaica: allowed only under specific conditions.
Jamaica lets each arriving passenger 18 and over bring in 1 litre of spirits plus 1 litre of wine free of duty. Anything above that has to be declared on your C5 form and cleared through the Red Line, with duty paid. Official Customs pages disagree slightly on the wording, so stay at or under 1 L spirits + 1 L wine to be safe.
The C5 declaration card states: "I understand that the failure to make a full declaration is an offence and may result in fines, forfeiture of the goods and/or imprisonment." No specific monetary figure is published for exceeding the alcohol allowance.
