Medications in Jamaica: allowed only under specific conditions.
Pack prescription medicine in its original, clearly labelled containers with a copy of the prescription (name, quantity, strength, dosage) and a letter from your doctor stating the condition being treated. If any prescription contains a narcotic, get a special permit from Jamaica's Ministry of Health & Wellness BEFORE you fly and carry it with you — official Jamaican guidance states unpermitted prescription drugs will be seized by Jamaica Customs.
No amount is published. The only documented consequences are SEIZURE — the Jamaican High Commission London states that without the permit "the drugs will be seized by the Jamaica Customs Agency" — and the general C5 warning that "the failure to make a full declaration is an offence and may result in fines, forfeiture of the goods and/or imprisonment", which states no figures.
